Actually, alternative energy is fuel or energy sources which other than fossil. The energy is not using natural resources or harming the environment. If you ask about the best alternative energy, it means the answer is solar. This is because solar can prevent the risk of harming environment. By using solar energy, there will be no acid rain, smog, and any kind of pollution. Solar energy is taken from the heat of sunlight. The heat is collected from solar panel. The heat will be changed into energy and you can use the energy to support electricity system at home or office. You can invest on solar panel and it is true that the price of solar panel is still expensive. Despite of the high price, you have to think about the long term benefit of using this alternative energy.
Wind
One more natural resource which can be used for alternative energy is wind. Actually, wind power has been used for many years before modern application. For example, Persian has been used wind to pump water or grind grain. This energy is considered as promising alternative energy. The best part is that the price of the system is more affordable than solar system. Moreover, it is also a good option because wind energy is pollution free. The main issue of wind power is the use of big size of generation. Because of that, you need to prepare large space. Furthermore, the system is a little bit complex to install.
Water
Water can also be used to create energy to support electricity. The latest development is hydroelectricity. Hydroelectricity power is created from the failing water. This type of alternative energy is the most widely used because of its easiness and the abundant amount of the source. Nowadays, hydroelectricity is developed in more than 100 countries worldwide.
Natural heat
There is also an alternative energy known as geothermal energy. This energy is using the heat of internal earth. The heat is used to boil water. Later, the energy from the hot water is used to support the electricity of building or house. In specific, the heat has to be up to 4000 degree Celsius. In general use, geothermal is applied in hot spring to create hot water for bathing. In the development, geothermal has been used to support industries, cities, desalination, and for agricultural applications.
Most of alternative energies above are still developed. In fact, it is not used maximally because of various reasons. Hopefully, human being can use alternative energy to change the use of fossil fuel in the future.
